Payment history profile characters
Metro 2 payment history profile character 0: current that month
The account was current for this month, meaning it was not 30 or more days past due when the lender reported. A payment a few days late that was made before it reached 30 days typically still shows as 0. Each character covers one month, with the most recent month first in the string.
How it shows on your report
OK, a check mark, a green box or "Current" in that month's box, depending on the bureau.
How it affects your score
Positive. A long run of current months is the core of good payment history.
What to check
If a month shows current but a later month jumps straight to 60 or 90 days late, either the current month or the later late is wrong. Compare those months to your statements and bank records.
