Payment history profile characters
Metro 2 payment history profile character K: repossession
The month the lender repossessed the collateral, usually a vehicle. It pairs with a repossession status (96, or 63 once paid). Some data providers that reformat Metro 2 for apps display repossession with a different letter, such as R, so the letter you see in an app may not be the raw code.
How it shows on your report
Usually RP or "Repossession" in that month's box.
How it affects your score
A severe negative month.
What to check
The repossession month should match the date the vehicle was taken. If you redeemed the vehicle and brought the loan current, later months should reflect that rather than repeating the repossession.
