Payment history profile characters
Metro 2 payment history profile character E: zero balance and current
The account was open, in good standing and carried no balance that month. It's common on cards paid in full before the statement and on lines of credit that weren't drawn on. It counts as a current month; the E simply adds the detail that nothing was owed.
How it shows on your report
Usually shown the same as a current month (OK or a check mark). Some displays note the $0 balance.
How it affects your score
Positive or neutral, like any current month.
What to check
If you know you carried a balance that month, the character is wrong, though that rarely hurts you. An E month followed by a late is a contradiction worth checking, since a zero balance has nothing to be late on unless a new charge came due.
