Metro 2 special comment code BL: credit card lost or stolen
The card was reported lost or stolen. The lender typically closes that account number and issues a replacement under a new number, so the old tradeline closes while the replacement carries on. Fraudulent charges made before you reported the loss are handled separately under the card's dispute rules.
