Metro 2 special comment code CJ: credit line closed, in repayment
A line of credit, such as a home equity line, has ended its draw period and is now in repayment. You can't borrow more, but a balance is still being paid down on a schedule, much like an installment loan. The remark explains why an open line suddenly shows no available credit.
How it shows on your report
A remark like "Credit line no longer available, in repayment phase."
How it affects your score
Neutral. The account keeps reporting payments like an installment loan.
What to check
The account should still show a balance and regular payments. It shouldn't be shown as closed with $0 owed until the balance is actually paid. Check that the scheduled payment matches your repayment-phase statements.
